The Iowa Tests of Basic Skills
The IOWA test of basic skills is offered in a group format to Deerstream students and their siblings as a convenience for interested families. This test fulfills NC state requirements for annual testing for homeschoolers.
It will be given over two mornings: Monday, May 20 and Wednesday, May 22, 2024
If snow make up days are needed, then test will be given May 29 and 30 instead. Registered students should be able to attend either set of dates.
Please note that this is a non-refundable registration, so make sure plans are certain before registering.
We offer the IOWA test for homeschooled students testing in grades 3 – 10.
Arrival time both days: 8:40 a.m.
Nonrefundable cost per student:
- $65 for Standard Battery (SB), 11:15 a.m. Pick-up
- $75 for Full Battery (FB) ,12:35 p.m. Pick-up
Location: The Chapel Hill Bible Church
Registration: December 2023 – March 31, 2024 until full, capping at 40 students
